Teaching my daughter to sew. She found a scrap piece of fabric & asked if she could use it as a scarf. We added pink embroidery thread. She was so proud and happy with her finished project. Perfect! # sewing

I’ve been volunteering at Bodgea Pastures; how to become a shepherdess :). Someday I’ll have sheep for wool. I might be 80 years old, but someday I’ll have at least 2 sheep. Such sweet, peaceful, animals.

tonight i’m setting the twist in hand spun yarn.  another love of mine. it’s a amazing feeling knowing the sheep this wool came from. I look forward to knitting a scarf for my brother.

Soap Making! It was my first time making soap, I had so much fun & can’t wait to start another batch soon. One thing I did learn, stick to the recipe. I used too much grapeseed oil & as the result my soap is now getting oily to the touch. Oh well, lesson learned. The next batch will be better! Thanks to my pops for helping me custom make a mold box.

This was my sons Batman Costume…made entirely out of old clothes and costumes. I cut a old black dress of mine, black pants of my husbands, and felt from old costumes (for the cape, gloves & belt) . He loves it :)

This was my daughters horse costume! I made the pattern and had barely enough fabric, meaning no mistakes could be made. I held my breath the whole time. Luckily it worked. My daughters legs were inside the horses front legs, fake legs with boots are attached at the side of the horse (so it looks like she’s riding the horse). It was a big hit everyone liked it, but the best part was she loved it! Weeks later she’s still wearing it around the house.
