Soap Making! It was my first time making soap, I had so much fun & can’t wait to start another batch soon. One thing I did learn, stick to the recipe. I used too much grapeseed oil & as the result my soap is now getting oily to the touch. Oh well, lesson learned. The next batch will be better!
Cinnamon ornaments! Made with 1/2 cup of cinnamon, 1/2 cup of apple sauce, mix together, roll out on a surface sprinkled with cinnamon, use cookie cutters or cut out designs; then bake on a low temp about 180 F, Done! It took about 30 minutes for my ornaments to harden all the way. The house smells wonderful! (Taken with instagram

This was my sons Batman Costume…I made it all out of old clothes. I cut an old black dress of mine, black pants of my husbands, and old felt (for the cape, gloves & belt) from old costumes.
This was my daughters horse costume! Her legs where the front horse legs, fake legs with boots are attached at the side of the horse, she loved it!
Two of my favorite things together! This story makes me happy:
Baby elephant’s mom dies, it’s lonely and starving, rescue workers can get it to eat..this sheep was brought to it from a local farm, within 3 days the closest friendship was made… The little ele started eating & drinking again. Now they’re the best of friends!
Inside of beer tote, old fabric is the lining, the outside is made from a used grain bag!
